Inside-Out Framework Designed by Someone Who’s Been There

I spent years struggling to make sense of my emotions and wound up with an eating disorder in my late teens. I’ve wandered between severe restriction and feeling controlled by food, to dieting for bodybuilding competitions and becoming hyper-focused on my appearance, to emotional eating, to eating for performance, to intuitive eating, and everything in between.

I’ve done it all, and it led me to stacks of books, mountains of education, a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology, a Masters in Counseling, and a PhD in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine.

I’ve changed my mind a lot about what works, what’s appropriate, and what people need to support their metabolic, mental, emotional, physical, developmental, relational, and environmental health. ​

What you will receive in this course is where I have landed. That you are unique and that no “plan” will work for everyone. However, there is foundational awareness, knowledge, and skills, that are absolutely necessary for your healing, and they must be implemented from the inside-out.​

Month 01

Build Mind-Body Awareness

  • Map your history and understand what is influencing your current behavior
  • Practice 3 new tools to know what’s happening internally & change your experience
  • Identify the various types of hunger and cravings, how they show up, and what to do with them

  • ​Map your nervous system and get to know the 3 states of activation and how they keep you stuck

  • ​Explore your attachment style and how it informs the relationship you have with food & your body

Explore Your Body Image & Self-Worth

  • Learn about your body’s experience from your body’s perspective
  • Understand exactly how your actions are aligned with diet culture & the dieting mindset and how they’re impacting your life
  • Identity the psychological & physiological impact of the diet cycle & restriction
  • Create a toolbox of strategies for dealing with the self-critic and negative body thoughts

Eating & Living in a Values-Aligned Way

  • Identify your core values & your vision for health and how to have your relationship with food and your body reflect them
  • Feel the difference between empowered eating and willpowered eating
  • Know the 3 elements of self-compassion and how to implement it in a way that doesn’t feel fake or cheesy
  • Practice integrating the mindset necessary for dealing with discomfort

FAQs

The online curriculum is available to you starting when you you sign up. It is completed on your own time so accommodates the uniqueness of your schedule and life’s priorities. 🔑 Once enrolled, you’ll have lifetime access to the course. Your access will only end if the program is ever discontinued. If you choose to add on private coaching sessions, we will determine the schedule for those together.

You can choose to pay in full or with monthly payments.
The first installment will be charged to your card at the time of registration, and the subsequent installments will be automatically charged to the same card the following month.

This course is the culmination of years of personal and professional experience and expertise. It covers the most important foundational principles and practices that have been shown in research to make the most significant difference among those who struggle with disordered eating, eating disorders, body image dissatisfaction, and emotion regulation.

I took great care in organizing and designing to be applicable in your daily life to make a genuine difference in your the way you are with yourself, your emotions, with food, and your body.

I have had clients who have been in therapy, who have worked with other coaches, and have taken other courses specifically in these areas express how much the learnings were pivotal in helping them step into new perspectives and actions!

One course cannot cover everything, especially in great detail, but every participant I’ve worked with has been surprised within the first week of how much they are learning!

If you’ve worked with me before either live or virtually, there may be some overlap, but you will absolutely find the content in this course different and deeper in many regards. You will be engaging in practices that will help you integrate the concepts whether you’re learning about them for the first time or again.

Remember, learning often requires repetition to be integrated! Prompts and reflections will support your deeper exploration so you can strengthen your understanding and the meaning the concepts hold for you, in your life.

Plus, the connection and community included in this program provides additional support not included in the DIY courses I’ve offered.

No worries! You will have instant access to a private support group where you can post your questions and reflections. I personally respond to your check-ins every module, which are built in to the course! You also have the option of adding on private 1-on-1 coaching sessions with me to help with processing, digesting, and practicing in real-time what you’re learning.

You will be able to access all of the course curriculum until I can no longer maintain it! In other words, for a lifetime unless it’s no longer sustainable for me.

I recommend that you download/make a copy all of the documents that are available, and do the same with the resources that are posted in the private support group!

You will remain in the support group indefinitely, unless you choose to leave. If you feel you’d benefit from additional support, consider adding on 1-on-1 private coaching sessions for accountability and processing during the course.

When I designed the course, I considered just how busy everyone is! I love a jam-packed learning opportunity, but at the same time understand that we all have constraints and need to prioritize our other responsibilities!

That said, this course is dense. I would expect to spend at least a couple hours per week on the material itself, in addition to spending time in the support group or in your 1-on-1 private sessions. Some modules are longer or shorter than others. I trust you to use your judgement and set small goals based on what is feasible for you!

Remember, that you don’t lose access to the course material, and you can come back at any time and review certain sections that you want to spend more time with. And you do not need to spend 1-2 hours in one single block!

I have also built in “integration weeks” where there is no new material! You can use whatever time you need to review previous lessons or move through lessons you haven’t yet!

Each week I will ask you to submit a check-in, sharing what you are learning, growing into, and feeling a desire to prioritize! Those check-ins come directly to me and I respond to every single one via email to help with your reflections, make suggestions, and support your learning!

You can also post your thoughts in the private support group to receive individualized feedback from me!

If you are interested in working with me live and privately while you’re moving through the course, you have the option of adding on private sessions for a reduced cost! Just ask! 🙂
